Kelp Forest Tank, Reef Tank & Flash Flood Exhibit

Los Angeles, CA

Biscayne Group is proud to have completed the construction for the latest expansion at the California Science Center in Los Angeles, CA. The main attraction is the 200,000-gallon (4,500 gpm) kelp forest tank featuring live Kelp and numerous fish species. A 10,000-gallon Reef Tank houses live coral, invertebrates, and fish. The Flash Flood Exhibit recreates a unique desert flash flood experience. The coordination process for this project for all trades was produced as 3-D coordination drawings that allowed conflicts to be resolved before construction began. This process is intended to save both time and construction costs.
